If you look at the landscape within most organizations, you see a mix of process automation, new AI initiatives, AI agents, and a complex web of existing applications. Over the years, investments have been made in many isolated initiatives to solve specific problems.

It's a double-edged sword, and I am personally very curious to see how this evolves.
In theory, yes. Several platforms have made significant progress in process orchestration. From BPM and workflow engines to emerging AI-native orchestrators like Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Agent Frameworks, and UiPath Maestro. These tools introduce promising building blocks for coordinating automations, workflows, and AI agents.
In practice, however, most large organizations have accumulated such a diverse mix of automations, AI initiatives, and applications that no single product delivers a complete, end-to-end orchestration layer. The perfect off-the-shelf solution that seamlessly connects everything simply doesn’t exist yet.
That’s why the answer isn’t to wait for a magic tool, but to actively explore and assemble an orchestration approach that fits each client’s unique ecosystem. The technology is evolving quickly, but the real value lies in designing the right architecture and stitching the pieces together in a way that works for the organization.
Orchestration is the critical link between having a collection of digital tools and having a truly intelligent, automated enterprise. While a single, universal solution remains on the horizon, the path forward starts today. It requires a strategic shift away from building isolated solutions and toward designing a cohesive ecosystem where every component works in harmony.
