I'm a low code automation engineer

As a Low code Automation Engineer at RoboRana, I use low code platforms to create integrated and automated business-critical processes that meet business needs while providing an intuitive and easy-to-use application. From creating the underlying database tables and workflows, to data flows, up to the user interface, it’s my job to design, build and support tangible solutions that meet the challenges of business.

Of course, I don’t work alone on these projects. Several Low Code Process Engineers work together on a single application or business process, which gives each person the chance to learn new things from others and master the low code platform you are working with. Due to the daily or weekly meetings with other stakeholders on the projects, you meet new people, connect with business users, and constantly get new insights.

Low code platforms prove to be interesting yet challenging: you can build automations incredibly fast with out-of-the-box functionality, but no-one’s stopping you from writing some custom code plugins or SQL when no out-of-the-box function meets your demands! Although the job concerns low code, a technical background with an affinity for coding principles can help to create a resilient and fully fledged business process automation solution.
