Client's Challenge
The innovation cell within the IT department of the Flemish public employment service (VDAB) wanted to experiment with the strength of RPA and AI to intelligently monitor the applications for the European Social Fund (ESF). The VDAB asked RoboRana to develop three Proof of Concepts for three processes. After a thorough evaluation of the PoCs, the VDAB will decide if they will move forward with the implementation of this solution.
Our Solution
We have started with the analysis of three processes and established a detailed scope for the PoC. Besides the automation of two processes within the applications of ESF, VDAB chose to integrate the RPA tool Blue Prism with the OCR and machine learning platform ABBYY FlexiCapture to read out signatures more accurately, faster and more efficiently.
